U-News InDesign Pages

Upon becoming an Arts & Life Editor for the University News, one of my principle duties was to design pages for the organization’s monthly print issue. I, along with the other Arts editor, were charged with creating the pages of the Arts and Life section of the paper, often splitting it between two pages each (exception to this was October 2021, for which the other editor was out sick).

These pages were created utilizing Adobe InDesign, and often followed a style guide in order to keep with the U-News traditional look. The old U-News format lasted until March 2023, utilizing the fonts of PT Serif (Text and By-Line), PT Serif Italics (Image Credits), Bebas Neue (Headlines), Vogue (Section Titles), Champagne & Limousines (Page Numbers). The new U-News style was created in April 2023, which replaced the Headline and Section Title fonts with Brandon Grotesque (medium) and Arcane Nine respectively, as well as adding Brandon Grotesque (italic) for the By-Line.

Below are all the pages I designed for the University News, organized from oldest to newest.
